Our Goal
Viking VM was established with the purpose of simplifying management and deployment of game servers, website hosting and support for various communities.
With many years of experience doing these tasks manually, we sought out a way to provide for a better service with more self-service in mind. That means that the user is responsible for backups, updates and overall management while we provide the tools to do so. With such access will allow users to customize and adjust their game servers the way they see fit to match their commuity.
Due to limitations in infrastructure while we grow, there might be a shortage of capacity for higher end servers. We know this, therefore we do not have a payment plan for servers as we only accept donations. All forms of income is used to improve server capacity and availability to have more things to offer for your community
fully manage Your Own server
We use CubeCoders AMP for our game server management, this gives a nice clean layout of server instances and hazzle free setup for new servers. With integrated backup solutions, file management and server configuration menus, the user can easily upload plugins and alter server configurations or download their save to their own computer.
With some games, additional network ports or product licenses must be acquired for full functionality. We can assist with ports however we do not have the funds to procure all product licenses, therefore the user needs to provide for those themselves.
